Painter & Illustrator

Born in Benxi, China, 2002, artist Fu Han was adopted and brought over to the United States of America in 2005.

Their art centers on their experience being an adoptee Chinese-American, emphasising feelings of alienation and isolation, unravelling the often overlooked grief that adoption brings, and to create a space for other adoptees to feel seen and understood.

They use art as a way to express such complex thoughts and feelings, to pay homage to the culture they were separated from.
