Fu Han was born in China, 2002, later being adopted and brought over to the United States of America in 2005.

They graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in 2025 with two Bachelors of Fine Arts in Communication Arts and Painting + Printmaking.

Their art centers around their experience being an adoptee Chinese-American, emphasising feelings of isolation and the distortion of the self. Through their art, they unravel the often overlooked grief that adoption brings, creating a space for other adoptees to feel seen and understood, and to pay homage to the culture they were separated from.
